Crockett and Jones "Clifford" in tan and polishing skills

Some of you may remember that I blogged about the Crockett and Jones "Clifford" in tan about a year ago here. At that time I was trying out my polishing skills, now a year gone and I am still working on the pair. I humbly think that my skills are getting better, but far from the Masters. I want to thank all of the patina Masters, Grand Dukes, Artist, Designers who with their creative patina artisanship works/creations have inspired me.

The Crockett and Jones "Clifford" in tan colour, well polished. Am I getting there?

  1. Absolutely you are there. You obviously thought enough of them to proudly wear them and display them here. And as a guy who polishes his own, looks great to me. What matters most in polishing , I found, is if you can get your shoes to a point where you say 'wow, I did a nice job on these' and you are proud of your work. Great job SA .. Love seeing people's own personal work and reading about how they got their regarding polishing shoes.

  2. HI Brad,

Thanks for the nice encouraging comment, which I do appreciate. By the way check the part of Master Alexander Nurulaeff, he has an email info which you can use regarding revival of your shoes.

    Have a pleasant weekend.
