GJ Cleverley - a bespoke half brogue

Sometimes day dreaming is healthy for the body and mind. I keep dreaming that I have unlimited resources and I am paying the GJ Cleverley a visit each month or every second to commission a pair, two or three and have shoe talk. The GJ Cleverley establishment maybe conservative, but on the other hand very innovative, if I am not wrong they were the first to utilise hides like Hippo and Elephant, still keeping it at a base for the likes of me to say WoW!
The every day man may not notice this pair, but the shoe connoisseur will, nothing about this shoe "screaming here I am, look" but refined and almost anonymous yet elegant, classical, beautiful and timeless.

The sampled footwear is another simple shoe, in brown but......that GJ Cleverley signature and DNA. It leaves one breathless. Well done.

Bestetti - Novecento Line the English style

It seems the Riccardo Bestetti Novecento Line is a Ready To Wear and or Made to Order offering, though I am not sure, possible that it will be offered as a Ready To Wear in the near future, and I do hope so.
Yesterday I blogged about the Adelaide Oxford made for Master bespoke trouser maker Mr. Salvatore Ambrosi from Naples by Master Bestetti.
As I said yesterday, my mouth was watering so there was the urge to look more into this new line the "Novecento" and I was left speechless after seeing some of the models.

For the day I bring you from the Novecento Line - English style form, which is more a squared chisel toe, very well done. I now know what I want before Summer ends. The colouring of the shoe is mesmerising and just perfect for the Summer. I lack words for these beauties. Enjoy your weekend.

Bespoke Tony Gaziano creations from EG time

Mr. Tony Gaziano of Gaziano and Girling (Kettering - England), was bespoke last maker and operated Edward Green's bespoke department before collaborating with Mr. Dean Girling to start the G and G bespoke shoe company in 2006. Mr Gaziano lasted and made some very beautiful bespoke shoes whilst at Edward Green, for the day I have collected two samples to share with you. Very elegant and timeless shoes, so well balanced.

Espresso or Mocca coloured semi brogues with medallion on a squared chisel toe
Side gusset with punch cap toe and a medallion, nice colour for the Summer. I will always recommend side gussets for those gents who travel a lot.
