Bestetti black tassel loafer for the day

As the Summer is slowly showing it's true colours and the warmth is felt allover the place and everyone around is enjoying what the Summer brings, warmth. My thoughts during this time have been around on the below depicted Master Bestetti creation of a loafer, a tassel loafer in black hide. I know most gents prefer their loafers in suede, but...I do not see why not to pair this black calf loafer with a light weight cloth Summer suiting and then this highly polished pair of loafers, add Gammarelli socks and a Spring/Summer coloured paisley pocket square to the suit jacket and top it off with a Panama hat. 
I have in mind two tassel loafers, that must be made in calf hide and one of them is the below as renditioned by Master Bestetti.

Bestetti three eyelet Derby the "Foster" from Novecento line

The day's sampled three eyelet Derby is from Master Riccardo Freccia Bestetti, who does not need any introduction on this blog. The below depicted Derby called the "Foster" is from the Novecento Line, very well renditioned with the unusual brogue on the vamp, dashed and splashed with a toe medallion. The topping is the well done antique polishing or patina. Just simple and elegant.

Bestetti hand coloured Derby

Master Riccardo Bestetti does it again, in the below pictures we see the transformation of  raw leather shoe to a very beautiful piece of art, hand painted shoe. Here again, it is probably the collaboration of a patina designer and the shoemaker artisan putting movements and energy into the leather, handled as canvass. No words needed, let the pictures say it all. Very well done Master Bestetti.

Bestetti's Balmoral (galosh) Oxfords

For the day I have sampled a Balmoral Oxford (Galosh) from Master Bestetti of Italy, the sampled is in calf and pigskin. Once again comes the "Gladiator" the "Man of Men" in such beautiful rendition, sometimes I wonder how can a male shoe be so masculine yet preserve the feminine touch and beauty and still be elegant. I am aware that for some these shoes might be boring as they are black, but there are some of us who have to mingle and sweat for our daily bread in very conservative environments, where black is appropriate. These shoe samples are sleek, elegant and they do send a clear message, whatever that is. You decide.

Model York a Balmoral laced black Oxford in it's beauty and glory from Master Bestetti

Below a Balmoral laced Oxford in black pigskin, a hide to reckon with and appreciate. These shoes are the hight of shoemaking. Master Bestetti's shoes can not be mistaken for any as his DNA and signature is all over the shoe.  I simply love these Balmorals mine look rather wobbly bobbly compared to these. I suppose it was the last chosen. That is another story and a different shoemaker.

Yet another braided tassel loafer with a raised apron from Master Riccardo Bestetti's hands, I have sampled a Spring / Summer teaser for you and myself for the weekend. 

What I like about Master Bestetti's shoes is: the fact that they are very masculine though not the vulgar "Arnold" or "Rambo" like muscled guy, no pun intended, but more of a "no-nonsense" taking "gladiator" gent, who is full of confidence,  very refined and maintains that manly soft touch of Italy. Need not say that this below depicted shoe has the masculinity, the "gladiator" look and the Italian male softness. As said the beauty lies in the little details.

Bestetti - whole cut brown alligator loafer

For the moment I am only thinking of loafers and only loafers, not sure why. Anyway for the day I sampled this beautiful rendition of a whole cut alligator loafer from Master Riccardo Bestetti, a stunning shoe.

Bestetti single strap loafer

For the last few days the weather has shown signs of Spring (here South of Sweden), which is promising, and I can not stop thinking of loafers, suedes, linen clothing and picnicking. In general lighter clothing and shoes to complement the sunny hours and colours of the day. 
This brings me to the below depicted loafer, a Riccardo Bestetti single strap loafer with a buckle, in honey colour or rather a tan/mahogany or even cognac in a beautiful patina, resembling honey. Master Bestetti's shoes do come with the most extra ordinary colouring, I have to say. Some times I wonder if the patina is not the work of Grand Master Alexander Nurulaeff (Dandy Shoe Care), I may be wrong, none-thereless, exquisite patina & colouring and elegantly looking. Candy to the eyes.

Bestetti braided suede tassel loafers with hans stitched apron

I have again sampled a shoe from Master Bestetti, a loafer, a tassel loafer, not quite true, a braided tassel loafer in suede. The pictures depict the process of making the shoe, therefore no need for me to add unnecessary words. Take a view and enjoy the process of this beauty being created, from start to end, more or less. Enjoy.

 The hide lasted on shoe trees to take shape and form of the bespeaker's feet.

The final braided tassel loafer in suede with a hand stitched raised apron. Just perfect, wonderful. I really do like these loafers for the Summer.

Bestetti - Novecento Line the English style

It seems the Riccardo Bestetti Novecento Line is a Ready To Wear and or Made to Order offering, though I am not sure, possible that it will be offered as a Ready To Wear in the near future, and I do hope so.
Yesterday I blogged about the Adelaide Oxford made for Master bespoke trouser maker Mr. Salvatore Ambrosi from Naples by Master Bestetti. 
As I said yesterday, my mouth was watering so there was the urge to look more into this new line the "Novecento" and I was left speechless after seeing some of the models. 

For the day I bring you from the Novecento Line - English style form, which is more a squared chisel toe, very well done. I now know what I want before Summer ends. The colouring of the shoe is mesmerising and just perfect for the Summer. I lack words for these beauties. Enjoy your weekend.

Bestetti- Novecento Line (Adelaide) for Salvatore Ambrosi

The below depicted shoes are from Riccardo Freccia Bestetti Novecento Line made for the world's famous bespoke trouser artisan from Italy, Salvatore Ambrosi. I have blogged about the two gents earlier on this blog. 
Yeah, who said that the weekend can not be fun? Enjoy it and get a bit of inspiration from Master Bestetti.

The "Ambrosi Adelaide" as I will name it, in a round toe last, pardon me Master Bestetti, a beautiful rendition of an Adelaide and the patina....oh my....mouth watering...no words..... for this piece of art. Wow....my weekend has just started and getting poorer by the hour.
