I am not going to be the spoiler of the 2013 Summer, but like all good things come to end at some point. Now it is  time to bring those darker coloured shoes out to welcome the Autumn, when I say out, I do mean, in a well polished, cared manner worthy a  gent. If you did not do that, please be inspired by Dandy Shoe Care. How to accomplished that?
Get inspired by Dandy Shoe Care, see depicted pair below.

Well come back Master Alexander, hope you enjoyed your vacation and thanks for once again reminding us, that well polished shoes do look great and say a more than a million words about the wearer.

Alden Norwegian Split toe limited edition

Now it is obvious The Patina designer, artist The Grand Duke of patina is back from his well earned and deserved vacation. I am not a fan of Aldens (USA) shoes, however I have two pairs of Norwegian split toe on Black cordovan and Shell 8 (more dark burgundy). When I saw this transformation from the almost nothing saying colour to the Limited Edition, I was taken back and with a good reason too. A well renditioned patina design and colouring. Well done Grand Duke Of patina.

Giacopelli and Dandy Shoe Care Collaboration - tassel loafer

A while ago a blogged about Giacopelli shoes from Parma (Italy) and at the time assumed that there was a working collaboration between Giacopelli and Dandy Shoe Care. Now I can cement that statement, indeed there is a connection between the shoemaker and the The patina Grand Wizard (Dandy Shoe Care).
As explained earlier, I assumed that Giacopelli and Dandy Shoe Care had a working relationship, and for the day I have sampled a tassel loafer made in Russian Reindeer hide by Giacopelli and handled and treated by Dandy Shoe Care.

Below depicted is a tassel loafer in Russian Reindeer hide before the Grand Wizard of Patina gives it an artistic hand treatment and care, and the look after Dandy Shoe Care treatment.
The choice of the leather and patina elevates  the same shoe to higher and better dimensions. Judge yourself by comparing the pictures of the same shoe style. Compare to the last picture, the same shoe but different hide.

The same tassel loafer in a different hide handled by the Grand Wizard too. The above gives a dash and splash due to the texture of the hide. Stunning.

Dandy Shoe Care - EG Loafer & Full brogue

For the day I have sampled two pairs of shoes made by Edward Green of Northampton, England, and both pairs were treated under the artistic hands of Grand Wizard Patina designer and artist, Alexander Nurulaeff aka Dandy Shoe Care of Italy. I picked up these two as I like the movement, energy and drive in the patina colour that takes both pairs to higher dimensions, thus becoming unique shoes from Edward Green with the helping hand of the Dandy Shoe Care. Hmmm...nice touch from the Dandy Shoe Care.

For the Full brogue, the stitchings and punching are highlighted and you see not only the beauty of the shoe but also the movement of the colour in the hide, just fantastic. The same goes for the loafer, it is seldom you see the toe part of a loafer with a spit shine, that mirrored gloss. Master Alexander Nurulaeff kept a very good balance between the  the original tan colour of the loafer with new the new darker toning, bringing attention to the stitched apron. Nice energy in the loafer.

Dandy Shoe Care - Trickers shoes but not any Tricker's

I have sampled the patina art work by patina artist, designer The Grand Wizard of Patina from Italy aka Dandy Shoe Care, Mr. Alexander Nurulaeff made on three ordinary shoes by  Tricker's of England.
The Tricker's company has been around since 1829 and produces rather heavier shoes more suitable for the country side and paired with cords and tweed suits they do look great. The Tricker's shoes are affordable for all pockets, so I think.

The trick of the blog's theme is not whether Tricker's shoes, which are at lower range than Crockett & Jones (hand grade) for example, are as sleek as the hand grade line or any of the English shoemakers in that higher range, but a helping hand from patina Grand Wizard Mr. Alexander Nurulaeff's care and heavenly touch, they will look like bespoke samples from any of the World's best bespoke shoemakers - eh...hmmm.... maybe a bit of pepper and salt there to exaggerate a bit.  Well, after the dash and splash of patina handling and caring, they look like any high end product from any good shoemaker (Crockett and Jones, Edward Green etc) and even have a bespoke touch. Sounds much better.... yes.
So?  A thought, get a low end good shoe and have it given a second look and life by a The Patina Grand Wizard. Now you are with me. Thanks.

Three pairs of Tricker's to be taken care off and given a new life by The Grand Wizard of Patina, a Penny loafer, a brogue punched cap toe Oxford with a medallion and braided tassel loafer.
The caring and caressing of the patina colouring in progress as seen on the tassel loafer in the middle. Transformation to a new life on it's way for these shoes.
The life before Dandy Shoe Care and after The Grand Wizard of Patina breathed new life into these Tricker's. Now these pairs of shoes maybe Trickers, but not any man's Tricker's.

Dandy Shoe Care - making dreams come true

The Russian/Italian Grand Duke, Master Patina Designer Alexander Nurulaef aka "Dandy Shoe Care" can make shoe dreams come true. I mean when a gent needs a "splash and dash" and revival of the shoe or just "pimping" the shoe to higher levels. Now I am aware that "pimping" is not the right word, but.....let those shoe dreams come true and a big thanks to "Dandy Shoe Care" that he can make it possible.

Dreams coming true, a full brogue Oxford, a quarter brogue Oxford and a wing tipped Derby. Hmm...candy for the kids or Christmas for the grown ups.

Dandy Shoe Care revival of an exotic Derby

If I had an old loved pair of shoes which needed revival and a second life, no doubt I will be in contact with Russian/Italian Grand Duke of Patina Design, patina artist, patina Master, Alexander Nurulaeff "aka" Dandy Shoe Care.
I have been learning the more sophisticated and time consuming art of polishing shoes and I am so far from the real thing, then you have "Dandy Shoe Care" who not only polishes the shoe to heavenly dimensions, but adds an extra new life and spirit to the shoe. My greatest respect for Dandy Shoe Care. No more talk filling the void with empty words. View and judge the revival of the exotic Derby as renditioned by "Dandy Shoe Care". WoW!!!

Dandy Shoe Care - Italian/Russian God of the patina art

Again the patina Grand Wizard of Italy pulls an amazing patina art on a pair of Crockett and Jones. The shoe patina on this pair is so individual and unique that it embraces the Spring/Summer colours warmly. Master Grand Wizard Alexander Nurulaeff aka The Dandy Shoe Care from Italy, is one of his kind, he utilises the shoe like a painting canvass, brings out the beauty of a shoe to dimensions unimagined.
So individual, refined and unique is his art of patina.
Just amazing and breath taking. Wish I could learn this amazing patina craftsmanship. Well, it is never late to learn a new craft.

Giacopelli bespoke shoes from Parma

I recently came across bespoke boot and shoemaker Giacopelli from Parma, Italy. The Giacopelli house produces bespoke for both ladies and gents. The house has been producing shoes since 1976.
Their products are elegant, traditional mens shoes, very stylish and timeless. What caught my eye and interest in the Giacopelli offerings, was the very beautiful patina renditioned on almost all of the Giacopelli's products.
I am almost certain that there is some collaboration between The Dandy Shoe Care and the Giacopelli house.  Why so ? Both the Dandy Shoe Care and Giacopelli are from Parma and a careful inspection of the patina seems to bear the indisputable dna evidence from Master patina Alexander Nurulaeff.

Enjoy and inspect these beauties.
