Gaziano and Girling - two samples of bespoke shoes

Northampton based Gaziano and Girling, have this "little" tendency of pulling some amazing rabbits from the magic bag of shoes. No wonder they are are so popular amongst the new generation of gents commissioning bespoke shoes/boots.

Below a wing tipped whole cut Adelaide laced Oxford in dark antiqued oak on the TG73 chisel last. Simple, elegant, classic and timeless shoe with a modern twist.
A three tier Derby in calf and lizard hides with a medallion on the cap toe, round last DG70. Very cool Derby shoe and very sober medallion. Ouch....wish my treasurer box was unlimited.

Gaziano and Girling - Cannes loafer

For the Spring/Summer inspiration a gent may opt for a Gaziano and Girling loafer with a raised apron and a split toe on the square chisel toe (TG73).  This is a nice rendition of a loafer without a strap, perhaps opt for a lighter colour. Enjoy

Gaziano and Girling - Walkton in pigskin and calf

For inspiration for a two toned wing tipped Adelaide Oxfords, I have sampled the below "Walkton" from Gaziano and Girling. The shoe is made of pigskin (black) and calf (vintage Rioja). Very interesting choice of hide and combination of the colours makes this shoe very distinctive and interesting, no doubt, heads will turn in admiration and envy.

G&G's "Walkton" in black pigskin and vintage Rioja calf hide, chisel squared toe last(TG73). The texture of the pigskin hide comes out in this combination and gives the shoe a very exotic look and appeal. Just lovely.

Gaziano and Girling - Chelsea boot (Deco - Fairbanks)

To start the weekend with a bit of inspiration I have sampled a Gaziano and Girling (from the Deco Line) a Chelsea (Fairbanks) boot which is very rich in colour, ehh...meaning black but with a twist of grey, a dash of navy and a hint of purple. Just lovely, cool boot.

I will wish you a very pleasant weekend with the "Fairbanks" Chelsea boot from G&G.

Gaziano and Girling - Whole cut Adelaide

As Spring is slowly but surely approaching a gent needs a whole cut bespoke Adelaide punched and no gimping or brogues. The below depicted shoe is exactly what Gaziano & Girling of Northampton does, a beautiful shoe indeed, minimalistic, simple, classic and elegant, oh forgot timeless.

Gaziano and Girling - Cherry coloured Adelaide

I have for the day sampled a Gaziano and Girling creation in cherry colour to honour the yearly natural event the blooming of the cherry blossom trees that occurs in Japan between end of March and mid April. The celebration is called Hanami - deriving from Hana (flower in Japanese) and Mi (to watch - verb).

Gaziano and Girling for the day - MTO and Deco

For the day I have sampled some very unique Gaziano & Girling (a new revamped web site) shoes sourced from Calceom a shop that provides and sells G&G shoes amongst others. The sampled are made to order shoes from G&G MTO and Deco Line. Enjoy.

A black Oxford stitched cap toe from the Deco Line, a classic worth any wardrobe.
Arran Chukka boot in suede, will look very nice for the early Summer.
A whole cut Oxford (right) and a two tier Derby in exotic leathers (crocodile and stingray) from the Deco Line
The Kent an Oxford Balmoral in two tones with a medallion, simply love the colour combination. Will do good for the Spring and Summer.

Gaziano and Girling - Russian Reindeer single monks

For the day I have sampled a very beautiful single monk with a stitched apron and a split toe from the duo bespoke shoemakers  Mr. Tony Gaziano & Mr. Dean Girling ((Gaziano & Girling) from Northampton (UK). The hide of the monk looks like Russian reindeer. The colouring of the hide and colour are just mesmerising to the viewer.
If and when I am going to commission a monk for the coming years, I would definitely go for this Norwegian split toe single monk made of Russian reindeer hide. Very elegantly executed.

Gaziano and Girling - The Chukka boot

For the day I have sampled this beautiful rendition of a three tier Derby Chukka boot from Gaziano and Girling of Northampton, England. The below Chukka boot maybe from the period when Master Tony Gaziano was head last maker and running the bespoke department at Edward Green. It is a very rare combination of calf and exotic leather on a Chukka boot and the lining is just so English. I simply like this Chukka boot.

Pigskin shoes

Pigskin is underrated when coming to shoe hides. Most gents will say Crocodile, Alligator, Stingray, Shark hides etc, are most exclusive. True, but in my humble opinion pig hide does some wonders if given to the patina artisan to finish the job. What the heck am I talking about.....

Spectator of the day by Gaziano & Girling

For the day, whilst it is Summer, I have sampled a spectator by Gaziano & Girling of England. The spectator (St. Ives) as named by G&G is in vintage oak and ivory suede, made on the G&G round last (GG06). The shoe is a made to order sample.

To complement your G&G spectators, pair them with a cream coloured linen suit, add a Panama hat to the ensemble, then a you will look smashing and dashing for the tropics.
