GJ Cleverley - from the Anthony Cleverley range in Museum calf shades

For the day I have sampled GJ Cleverley classic shoes from their Anthony Cleverley line. All sampled are made from the famous Museum Calf hide. The hide is indeed stunning, very unique and gives a flow in the patina of the leather.
GJ Cleverley does it again, Wow! If my pockets were deep enough, would have all of these in my humble shoe closet.

GJ Cleverley - The Whole cut oxford

For the day I have sampled an elegant shoe in black, a classic whole cut Oxford with a stitched cap toe and seamless from the GJ Cleverley establishment. My understanding is that whole cuts, whether be oxfords or loafers are difficult to make, as one has to deal with one single piece of hide and get it correct from start. I suppose that is the challenge for any shoe artisan.
The below straight cap toe has two rows of very close stitchings and it is seamless at the back, because as said, it is made of one single piece of leather.

The stitched cap toe whole cut Oxford as renditioned by GJ Cleverley, a beauty, a classic, a formal shoe and timeless.

John Lobb - classic creations for the day

For the day I have sampled two classic creations from John Lobb the venerable bespoke shoemaker. The below two renditions are from Lobb's bespoke operation. I simply like the design, colouring of these classic Oxfords. Very stunning and beautiful.

Paulus Bolten the Shoe patina Master from France

Many of you know by now that I have this fascination about, patina, glacage and cirage. One of the old school Masters of the art is Paulus Bolten of Glacage Chaussures. A few months ago when I first started blogging about the art of patina I had some of his works mentioned/listed here
Today I am entirely dedicating this blog to him and his creations, which are so fascinating and well executed. Enjoy Mr. Paulus Bolten's artistic work.

The Cherry like coloured full austerity (blind) brogue, like a ripe peach to take a bite at.

A Chelsea Boot  well renditioned
A very interesting design for an adelaide oxford (hope I am correct) the shoe and the patina was what made me take Mr. Paulus Bolten's work for the day. Very, very dandy and sartorial. I love the design of this shoe and the patina executed.
A two tier crocodile derby in green and little touch of red. Amazing
Two toned patina on an oxford
 A wing tip balmoral oxford
A semi or quarter brogue oxford with a medallion on the cap toe
Another delighting stitched cap toe oxford. That colouring is killing me
A multiple toned full brogue oxford. Lovely.
